Snapdragon Stadium
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Snapdragon by Qualcomm for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
For 11 days this holiday season starting December 18th, will be renamed to Snapdragon Stadium after the company that creates the processors that power smartphones all over the world. The San Diego wireless chip giant, which has held the naming rights on the Mission Valley stadium since 1997, is temporarily changing the name from Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium. Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm are the digital brains inside mobile devices made by top manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Nokia, and HTC. These processors are a key element in how we run our lives, communicate, and stay connected with those who matter most to us. This is an exciting time for Snapdragon, the processor that makes all of that possible, especially around the holiday season when we are most likely to upgrade our phones. During this time the venue will play host to a Chargers Sunday night game against Baltimore along with two college bowl games: the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl (Dec. 21) and the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl (Dec. 28).
With the incredible focus on smartphones and tablets in this generation, Snapdragon leads the way in our quick and mobile lives, keeping us connected wherever we go. Be sure to watch the upcoming bowl games to see the name change for yourself and support the company which has created the technology that keeps you connected to everyone in your life at the touch of a button.

PokerRoom May Be Reopening Ahead of US Online Poker Legalization
A longtime online poker playing site, PokerRoom.com, has been speculated to re-open for online real money poker playing once again. PokerRoom, who originally opened in 1999 and closed in 2009, is talking about the possibility of opening once again. A once very profitable and trustworthy online poker site, PokerRoom was forced to pull out of the US in 2006 with the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Pulling out of the US proved to be detrimental to the future of PokerRoom, causing them to eventually shut down its operation in 2009.
Just a short two years later, there is talk of PokerRoom once again opening their site for online poker playing. The rumors have not been confirmed, and it’s all speculation at this point, but poker cash players are hopeful. A very reputable and trustworthy site, PokerRoom will have its name recognition on its side should they decide to open for online poker playing once again. Players of all ranks, both new and old will most likely be ready to trust PokerRoom once again since it was considered the most reputable site when it was open for playing.
PokerRoom is a part of the OnGame network and is currently ranked number 5 in the world of online poker playing. Should PokerRoom re-open, it might not be ranked number 5 immediately, but chances are that it will get there in a very short amount of time.
The rumors that PokerRoom is re-opening all started from a tweet from one of bwin’s SEO Managers. While that tweet has since been taken back, the speculation is still out there. Why would PokerRoom want to open once again? One speculation is that there is talk that the US will once again legalize online poker playing. Should the US legalize poker once again, there’s no doubt that OnGame Network as well as PokerRoom will be allowed to do business in the US.
With the website of PokerRoom being revamped, PokerRoom has also opened up a Facebook and Twitter account. These events have helped to fuel the rumors that PokerRoom is making a comeback in the near future.
Not only is PokerRoom one of the internet’s most reputable online poker playing sites, it’s also the first site to receive the approval of Ecogra, a London based online player protection organization. PokerRoom is also the only poker site to offer a Mac client. All of these factors along with their outstanding reputation make the comeback of PokerRoom an exciting concept for people everywhere who want to play poker online.

My Family
Louisiana is where I grew up and my siblings all still live here, too. I actually only come back when I need a vacation which is why my husband and I bought a condo right in the heart of town – so we don’t have to stay with relatives when we come in! It’s brand new and it’s got all the amenities we need like pet care and Direct tv baton rouge and even a parking garage. There’s something great about how my family is so close but boy, when you get us all in the same house for a weekend you can count on there being fireworks. That’s what happens when you get a dozen Cajuns together for any type of holiday and don’t get me started on what it’s like when Uncle Louis is there! I love my family, I really do, but they’re a crazy lot and I wouldn’t ask my husband to have to deal with them often like I would do it myself. That’s not fair.

Pimp My Cube!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Contest Factory for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
That's right! Pimp My Cube is hosting the Pimp My Cube Contest, searching for the worst, most pathetic and messy cubicle or office with bad furniture, or old technology, or is just plain messy, unorganized, noisy, dirty, dark and/or any other attributes that make it a bad space to work in. Enter the contest by uploading your videos of why your office should be on Pimp My Cube by showing and explaining the details about why your office is so horrible that it deserves an office makeover by Contest Factory. Once your video is entered, invite your friends, family and coworkers to vote for your video. Then get sweepstakes entry points for registering, voting, commenting and inviting others to register for the contest.
The grand prize of having your cube "pimped" will be selected by the Contest Factory judges based on various criteria including most votes, best (well actually worst) video and most compelling story. So be sure to get everyone you know to view your video and vote for it to give you the best chance to win. A second sweepstakes of a $200 gift card will be awarded to the registered user chosen by random drawing at the end of the contest period. Be sure to enter your cubicle before January 31st at 12:00pm.
Be sure to check out the PMC site to get started. Then register and upload your videos to enter into the contest. Once your video is approved, start inviting everyone you know to check it out and vote for you submission. Good luck to all the entries and may the best (worst) cubicle win!

Yet Another Hilarious Modern Warfare 3 Trailer
Even after the game has been released, the trailers get even better. If you still have not been convinced to play this game, try it. Even though Infinity Ward has never fixed the spawn system and probably never will, it is still an awesome game.

Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3
Simply put, each has its advantages and disadvantages, however at the same time I do not feel that these two games can so easily be compared against one another considering they were originally designed for completely different platforms and focus on two completely different elements of warfare strategy games.
While most people are taking a firm holding on one side, I am simply torn between them both. They are both great games and would recommend both to anyone. I am currently playing both and have about an even amount of time dedicated to each. The reason I play both is simply because they feel to me like two completely different types of games even though they are both first person shooters. Hopefully eventually the heat will die down on this topic because I get really tired of hearing both sides bashing on one another when I am playing both and enjoy them equally as much. I think most true gamers would agree with that and I don't know why this bothers me so much but I thought I would throw out my two cents and see what people thought. Leave me a comment if you disagree but back it up with a real reason.

Untitled Jersey City Project

The Untitled Jersey City Project is a unique experiment in the development of an entertainment concept, a work-in-progress television drama. Set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, this series of eight short-form episodes are simply fragments of a larger story. With many threads of the plot left unresolved, this series provokes some major suspense and thought. This wild storyline leaves the plot to take the most unexpected turns in some great ways which make every episode even more interesting than the last. Don't miss a single episode of this thought-provoking thriller series or you will be left in the dark.
Across the Hudson from New York city lies a brand new city being formed and part of the design comes from an up and coming designer Frank George who falls victim to circumstance and becomes a witness to the death of an associate. The once clean friendly city is now tainted with the stench of murder and Frank is caught right in the middle, facing tough regulations and threats that begin to make his life very difficult.
Be sure to watch the preview of every episode on youtube, and then be sure to watch each one on FX. Also be sure to let me know what you think in the comments below!

Hotel owner
I have been the owner of a hotel for ten years. I love being in the hotel business because I love the prestige of owning one of the most well-known hotels in the nation. Each year, I look at the financial statistics from the previous year and try to determine one way in which we can save some money in the next year. This past year, our hotels in Texas spent more money on electricity than any other state. It was a very hot year in Texas, and I could only assume that a great amount of energy was spent on air conditioning. Whatever the issue was, I decided that I needed to find a way to spend less money on energy. I decided to do an online search for Shop electricity rates TEXAS and found that I could get fixed-rate energy at my hotels. That way, the energy bills will be predictable each month. I have also decided to hire a task force to help me determine other ways to save on energy within the hotels. Hopefully they will be able to come up with some new ways to conserve energy so our bills will be even lower.

Last Trip to Vegas
My last trip to Vegas was incredible and I can’t wait to go back. I assume as much as I gambled on my last trip I should be getting some free room offers. The last time I was in Nevada I went and saw the new Garth Brooks show and it was incredible, probably the best show I’ve seen in Vegas and that’s a pretty bold statement coming from me. Not to mention I think I gained 15 pounds while I was in town because of all the relatively cheap buffets in that city. By the time I got home all I wanted to do for a week was to sleep because the every night I was there I stayed at the craps tables till 2 a.m. The other night while I was browsing for some deals I came across http://www.SecurityCHOICE.com and was blown away by all the security options they offered. Now I feel more secure taking my next trip to Vegas and who knows I might even stay for two weeks next time I decide to go.

The Documentary
No doubt World of Warcraft is a time consuming game if you want to be one of the best players. There are many people who criticize games of this nature, particularly MMOs, but what is important to realize is that not only is this single game the equivalent of multiple other games combined, but it offers multiple types of play and with 12 million subscribers at one point, there is no doubt that this game will go down in history as one of the greatest whether people agree or not. The number of people involved from all over the world says it all.

My love of horses
I've been around horses for all of my life. My grandparents used to have some and I'd always find an excuse to go and visit them so that I could go visit and ride the horses. Well, I've wanted to own my own horses for a while now, but it's just now finally happening for me. I'm especially glad it's happening now because I live far away from my family members that do own horses.
Even though I helped take care of horses, I still didn't know exactly how to house them and stuff like that. So I went online to learn as much as I could about it. While I was online getting some pointers, I ran across some information about www.satelliteinternetbroadband.com/ and decided to switch our household internet service over to it.
We bought four horses we thought it would be good for each of us to have one so that we can ride together. Plus, those are enough horses to keep each other company too.

Beam TV with Veebeam
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of VeeBeam for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
If you are looking to easily watch internet videos directly from your laptop to the TV without any hassle at all, you need Veebeam HD technology that lets you combine the video and audio performance of your current HDTV with never ending entertainment options available on your laptop or other personal computer. Stream from virtually any source including Netflix, ESPN 360, and iTunes. Digital media files look great on the HDTV because of Veebeams 1080p Video output and plays anything that your PC can play. This is great for movies but I prefer to watch my gaming clips that I save to my computer directly on my TV as well as keep up with other gaming videos to learn even more gaming tactics. Veebeam connects wirelessly from PC to TV to avoid the hassle of more wires, because we know we already have enough of them, and is easy to use with its plug and play adaptability. When you’re ready to watch a movie, plug the USB antenna into your laptop and stream anything directly to your TV. It’s that simple.
If you check out Veebeam right now, you can also save 20% on any Veebeam purchase. Simply use the coupon code (20OFF) to receive your discount and start streaming the best quality video to your TV.

Released last week, the newest Call of Duty trailer for the exciting upcoming release of Modern Warfare 3 on 11-8-11. It wasn't sure for quite some time if Infinity Ward would play a role in the latest Call of Duty but thankfully they will. In all honesty, the Infinity Ward Call of Duty style is much nicer, less glitchier, and not to mention less annoying than Treyarch's design. Black Ops was good but the only reason I ever played World at War was for Nazi Zombies. Black Ops multiplayer is much better than World at War, however they still lack everything that makes Modern Warfare great. With Infinity Ward in collaboration, we should hopefully see another good year of Call of Duty action.

My skill helps land me jobs.
There's something to be said for having a resume that features a few things that other candidates don't have. For example, I take a lot of pride in showing off my skill at web design and I try to bring it up in interviews whenever I get the chance. I think employers really appreciate that I know my way around the computer and may be able to facilitate a website upgrade or something of that nature for their company. Most of the people I interview with have no idea what a hosting package is and have never heard of sites like Network Solutions or domainnames.com… I love being able to educate them and surprise them with my wide array of web design knowledge. It was totally worth an extra semester in school to be able to say that I know how to code and build a website from start to finish. I haven't found the perfect job yet but I've certainly landed a few internships based on my computer knowledge alone - at least that's what they tell me!

Pets Can Sense the Paranormal
I'm a sucker both for animals and the paranormal; this is why I love that the Animal Planet airs The Haunted - a show that centers on a family whose pets are affected by the ghosts that inhabit their house. Ever since I got my new Direct TV HD DVR, this show has become my favorite show of all time. Why? Because it has everything from cute animals to scary ghost stories. Although each show is different, they all share something in common: pets.
I've owned several dogs and cats my whole life, so watching families who act as if their pet is as much a part of their family as their own kids makes me feel really at home when watching the show. Of course, the ghosts make me a little nervous once it's time to go to bed, but I know my dog, Jack, will lay across the foot of my bed and protect me if anything jumps out of the closet. The show has also helped me to understand an animal's keen sense of the paranormal and just how special they really are.
