Growing Vision

Thanks for the article from Jermaine Haynes

It hasn’t been an easy road building my own business from the ground up but it certainly has been well worth it. Five years ago, armed only with the San Jose T1 in my home office, I set out on a path to be my own boss. I was still working full-time in corporate America then so I spent my weekends trying to get things off the ground. There were many weekends I would have loved to just hang out with my friends and party like most 20-somethings but I had a vision! I wanted to succeed and be my own boss by the time I was thirty. Here I am, only 28 and I‘ve done it. With the success of my internet based business, I am now able to open my first retail shop. I am excited to have the opportunity to interact with customers in person and am hoping that this will just be the first of many store fronts to carry my name and logo!

The Best Song with the Windows Down

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kia Rio for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you enjoy listening to music, there is always that song that when you hear it in your car, you have to roll down the windows and crank it up. Kia wants to know what song that is for you with the "Best Songs with your Windows Down" playlist. Visit the page to submit your favorite song like I did. I selected Under and Over it by Five Finger Death Punch for its intense rock beat. After you've picked your song, be sure to check out the entire playlist on Spotify, a great tool for listening to the best music available. Kia is taking your submissions and making a playlist for your next drive. Songs must be approved when submitting so your song may not appear right away. Submit your song and be sure to visit back each day to see the great new songs being submitted all the time.

If you're thinking about getting a new car, consider the Kia Rio for its Voice-Activated UVO Infotainment system, for when your music is important. Powered by Microsoft, UVO allows you to navigate phone and audio with voice commands, allowing you to concentrate on driving. Being able to personalize your driving experience is important. Do it with UVO and the new Kia Rio.

New Resident Evil Looking Better?

I have to say, I have not played a Resident Evil game in a long time because none of them were any good in my opinon past the classic number 3 with Nemesis. But now I have seen trailer after trailer released on the new Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and I have to say the game is starting to look better and better with each trailer. I had absolutely no intention of purchasing this game at first but I think this has become a game I want to play again. I'm not sure if it is just because I have been watching the countless number of trailers or because I want to relive a good Resident Evil game like the originals, but I am hoping this game turns out to be pretty good and if it does, I am going to have to get a copy of the game. Check out the launch trailer and see what you think. Although it looks like the story line is going to clash a little with the originals, it looks like it might just have a good chance.

Spring Around the Corner

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Balancing your time between chores and gaming is a difficult thing at time when it seems like there is so much to be done, especially right after a brutal winter season. To save me time and get the results I am looking for, I'm using Scotts® Snap® Spreader System. Nothing saves time like the new Spreader from Scotts with no mess and absolutely no guess. You don't have to worry about heavy bags; cutting, opening, pouring, spilling, wasting, it all just gets old. This system uses Snap Pacs which connect directly to the Snap Spreader and get rid of all that hassle. And the system auto-sets the proper flow rate so you can be sure your lawn gets what it needs and not any more.  The Snap Pac even self seals after removal making it twice as easy to store afterwards; no more empty bags laying all over the garage floor.

Check out the Snap Spread Testimonial to see exactly what this great tool is good for, and just how much time it will save you and get you back to gaming quicker.

Be sure to also "like"  Snap perks on Facebook so you can stay in the know about all the great Scotts products, promotions, and contests.

Could this become a Video Game?

Watching this video, I could easily see a video game being created out of this short film. This is quite a thought provoking and interesting video. The concept seems similar to many game types with nuclear devastation (like Fallout), company corruption in biological studies (like Resident Evil and many others) and a somewhat new element, that same biological study mutating into unforeseen abominations. The study, originally intended for good, seems to be quite the opposite. And on top of the already devastating result of a nuclear apocalypse and classic corruption, this could make for one hell of a game. Watch the video for yourself and see what you think. Remember that it is quite thought provoking because of the lack of detailed information given so far. It appears to be only part of an interview to a larger story much like a teaser. Check it out.

Binary Domain

This game has received a lot of good user reviews and ratings so far according to many game stores. It is a very interesting concept even if it has been used before, but it looks to be an action packed first / third person shooter in a similar style to Gears of War. The graphics with this game look awesome and the story line looks like it should be interesting but I think it may lose its luster before the end of the story. Regardless, it looks like a good game with lots of action and great graphics. I can always appreciate better graphics and fun if it means sacrificing a little bit of focus on a storyline but who knows, I may be wrong.
